Temperatures during November 2008 in Morden were slightly above the 20-year average. The average maximum was 10.7 Celsius (51F), and that was 0.6 degrees Celsius (0.8F) below average, making it the 7th successive month with below average maxima, but the average minimum temperature was 6.0 Celsius (43F), and that was about 1 degree Celsius (1.8F) above average.

Fresh or strong south to southwesterlies occurred at the beginning of the second week, and on the 9th a gust of 36 knots (41mph) was recorded. During the second half of November, winds veered west or northwest, mostly moderate or fresh, but lighter and cyclonic variable at times during the last few days.
