A mild month, the mildest since 2002, and also rather dry.
Very dry, the driest March for 14 years. Several frosty nights, but generally the month was fairly mild.
A dry May, the driest for 21 years, and Spring as a whole was the driest in this area for at least 110 years.
All 3 summer months this year have had below average temperatures and above average rainfall, thus making it the poorest summer in this area since 1988.
Dry and warm with an exceptionally warm end to the month.
